What kind of wine can be stored long term and those who can not?
I always thought it was great old wines. After all, see dust in the cellars of all the great films of age. For years I kept a small cabinet came around with some types of wines that have just chosen at random. (I think makes my groovy apartment search.) But I'm just a pretender, I really do not know much about wine. Now, suddenly, I hear that the wine should be used immediately after purchase, or will evil. What about that? Is it a total lie, or is that only certain types of improve with age?
most wines can be kept if it is maintained at a temperature of 55 degrees (hold forever in the sunshine if you do not have enough storage capacity), but some wines are better if you are young, and not keep for long ... it really depends on the vine. my suggestion is to subscribe to Food & Wine Magazine, so you can know that the wines you can drink now and you can keep. It's all about educating you.
