These glasses are not hard plastic, if that is what you are looking for. They have more flex and that is what makes them spectacular! Not to mention the thumb placement space. I love these glasses for outdoor and indoor use-really wonderful!

Ditto the other bad reviews!
UPS left the box containing these on my front porch on a sunny 85 degree day – by the time I got home and opened the box, the cups were melting, gooey and sort of misshapen from the heat.
Probably a good indication of how these would perform as I intended to use them by the pool on hot days.
I think I’ll have to retrn these.

These cups are made out of the same plastic that bottled water comes in. In fact, you can recycle them. They are flimsy and hardly reusable. They’re more like a fancy plastic cup than a “shatterproof wine glass”. If I had known how low quality these cups where, I would not have paid $12 for four of them.

These glasses area joke. They are made out of plastic. No wonder they are shatterproof. Ten bucks for four glasses, which you could buy a dozen of at Wal-mart for less than a buck. Once again this proves that “A fool, me, and his money are soon parted.”

These are great for pool clubs (no glass), camping (no stems), and picnics. We love them. Great quality, they look good, and they turn heads when we use them.
