I have used this aerator on about 6 bottles of wine and tried the taste before and after using this product. It works as per description and the spout is great for pouring without drops. The areated wine tastes better than just out of the bottle. I now use it on all wine bottles I open.
The reason I give it 4 and not 5 stars is that the other popular product – Vinturi – which I have also used, areates the wine more than this unit. The other item – Vinturi – aerators more but leaves a lot of mess behind in terms of spills and drops due to the way it is supposed to be used.

It appears to work as well as the messy venturi, but I have such a hard time removing it from the bottle each time, I only gave 3 stars.

I love the convenience and effectiveness of this aerator that I bought one for all my wine drinkers in the family. You can really taste the difference between an aerated glass of wine versus not; it’s the equivalent to letting the wine breathe for hours vs. not.

The VinOair does aerate the wine but not as vigoriously as the more expensive Venturi product.
I judge that additional holes to allow more air to enter the wine flow would be an improvement.
The anti drip spout is a plus over the Venturi which is messy to use and also I found it difficult to pre-judge the amount of wine to pour.

If you like red wine you must have at least one of these. It can make a $9.00 bottle of wine taste GREAT (in most cases). Aerates as you pour and as a bonus a drip-less pour.
