Why are wine bottles / Absinthe / Spirits / etc have a little kick in the bottom as the ring of 4 mm long?
When I looked in the bottom of a bottle of absinthe, is a small piece of glass missing from the bottom of the ring that contacts the table / ground / (what you put the bottle) I want to know is why there is such a thing, since I can not understand.
This is a step in production. A slot machine will use this to keep the bottom of the bottle cap to say a shift in ... or move to a line to sterilize. etc
