Lead crystal is not dangerous?
I recently bought Spiegelau Vino Grande Grappa glasses made of lead crystal or not what they say on amazon.com. He had an opinion on the website of the WHO said it was registered under California Proposition 65 warning. If he does not wear glasses then what is the warning?
CA is very good to inform its residents from all sources at the distance hazardous chemicals. Proposition 65 is a health warning public. Proposition 65 is a list of chemicals known to cause diseases, especially cancer. This is a warning not mean that you are at high risk of disease from the use of objects, living or are somehow related to the articles containing chemicals listed. It does not But "fair warning" that the levels of some of these substances are known to cause disease. Legally purchased the vessels below a certain level lead content and therefore eligible for "lead-free designation. The health risks are very low that are considered safe. Proposition 65 is to give a head until the lead is actually in the glasses. Again, the levels are very low and safe.
