A good recipe using white wine?
I like to experiment with white wine in the kitchen. Does anyone have a recipe like Fave share? This does not bother me if it is sweet or salty.
This is a tasty soup is certainly accentuated by the wine ... It is true that wine is not in the foreground. Lemon and scallops to the soup • 12 oz fresh or frozen bay, Coquille St. Jacques • 5 cups chicken broth reduced sodium • ½ cup dry white wine or broth chicken • 3 C. soup of chopped fresh cilantro • 2 tablespoons of tea with lemon zest, grated • ¼ C. Tea black pepper • 1 pound asparagus fresh, and finely chopped • 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms ½ cup sliced onion • (4) • 1 cup tablespoon lemon juice Free Thaw scallops, if frozen. Rinse and drain. In a large saucepan, combine broth, wine, cilantro, lemon peel and pepper. Bring to the boil. Add the scallops, asparagus, mushrooms and green onions. Simply return to boil, reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, 3 to 5 minutes or until asparagus are tender and the scallops are opaque. Remove from heat. Add the lemon juice. Serve immediately. Yield: 4 servings (7 cups) Per Serving: 145 Cal, 2 g fat, 28 mg cholesterol, 928 mg sodium, 7 g carbohydrate, 2 g fiber, 21 g protein Recipe courtesy of the New Diet Cookbook
