Is this a proper way to make alcoholic wine?
I bough a bottle of 100% organic grape juice from concentrate. It is 64 oz. I am gonna dump out a cup of it and then fill it in either a 2 liter bottle or big plastic container. I then will add a half a cup of water. I then will add the packet of active dry yeast in there. I then will shake it a little. And then I will take a little bit of tin foil and put it over the bottle. Then I will put a small balloon over it to track fermentation. Will this work?
Do I have to have an airlock, hydrometer, alcoholometer, etc.?
What happens if I don't have an airlock and I have it just like that?
Think you either are not old enough to be making this or if you are you best look for a recipe or go to someone that has made this, Sounds like your going to end up with a big mess.
