Making Acrylic Painted Glass Permanent?
I've recently branched out my creativity and hand painted some wine glasses because I couldn't find what I was looking for anywhere else.
Well I didn't want to spend a fortune in buying "special glass paint" and then discover I stunk at doing it. So i used just plain old acrylic paint that I already had at home.
Well.... turns out I LOVE the finished product, but they are not exactly usable because of the acrylic paint. If it gets wet from washing it will rub off.
Is there a varnish or finish spray that i can use on them to at least get them water resistant so I can clean the inside?

Usually any model/hobby store will have small bottles of lacquer that you can airbrush on, or hand paint with a soft bristle artists brush. This stuff goes on clear and some are available as a glossy or a flat coat. As for the acrylic paint rubbing off, it could be also surface cleanliness. Using rubbing alcohol to 'degrease' fingerprints and the like might help also.
